During covid our team at Black Bee Production was starving from boredom. So, naturally, we challenged ourselves to make short films, with one catch: A theme, format and product chosen by someone else. With only one week to write, produce, shoot and edit until the final screening. Ah, one other thing; you and only you could be the producer (no budget allowed). With a skeleton crew of only 3 man strong and nights out in the abandoned streets of Amsterdam a Douwe Egberts (coffee brand), inspired by the film ‘The Lighthouse’ (from my favourite production house A24 film) a brand film was produced.
