Recently the European Union announced new regulations against the addictive nature of Instagram. The Instagram algorithm contains a toxic mixture of attention craving design and respond perfectly to the human condition FOMO. At the end of 2023, Instagram released a premium ad-free subscription for €10 a month. What if Instagram would not only be a social media company, but the First Digital Healthcare Provider, protecting their users from their own technology. Inventing Insta_Care. In this work irony is underlined as Instagram would be the solution to their own problem.

Instagram is addictive by nature, mainly because of the algorithm. It keeps feeding users with content.

CONCEPT

Todays Healthcare is limited to our mental and physical body. As Gen-Z tend to spend more and more time online, why isn’t there digital healthcare? For this project I invented Insta_Care, the first digital healthcare provider. Insta_care provides installable algorithmic packages to give power back to the actual user.
